They are only available as a 2nd-line treatment if you are allergic to Amoxycillin or Clavulanic acid, Clavulanic acid Desegarette is a combination medicine which works by stopping the growth of bacteria. This medicine is not recommended for use in children under 12 years of age. Augmentin DUOXETIL 1GM/1.5GX tablets should be taken every day when needed, preferably before meals. It should be taken after a meal containing fat. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not crush, chew, or chew the tablets. The tablet should be taken with or without food, however, take it at the same time(s) every day.
This medicine is only recommended if you are allergic to penicillin, clavulanic acid, amoxycillin, and clavulanic acid. It is not recommended for use in children under 12 years of age.

I am going to have a surgery tomorrow, will I need any of the meds? I have tried all the tests and nothing has changed. I am so scared. I have been on the drugs.
